November Newsletter

It’s the month to raise awareness to you, gents!

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.

When it comes to their health, too many men don’t talk, don’t take action, and die too young.

Join us this November and help men live happier, healthier, longer lives. You can help change the face of men’s health.

Check out the Men’s Foundation who collaborate globally and locally to advocate in order to positively influence the average life expectancy of South African men.

Men are Fighters, Protectors, Warriors….but we are also soft, caring, gentle human beings that hurt and scar too! It’s time to speak out and stop the taboo of suffering in silence. #MenUnited!

    MENTAL Health And Suicide Prevention.
Tested Positive for HIV/AIDS in 2013 I began to recent my self I such a way that I was so in denial about the new hiv status. I was so angry. And I didnt start on treatment until early 2018 and I could have made a better decision for me and my health. I had so many suicidal thoughts but at the same time I was so scared to take action. Started speaking out about it at work. Or just to a random stranger what happens to have been going through the same thing. I really would like to encourage men to speak out even if it’s just to one person.

A big thanks to Movember & Manbox for raising a voice of awareness to Men out there. I add to say, as of the same gender it is indeed not easy to talk about issues and problems we encounter as men are expected to be the pillar in almost everything. You too can cry, you are human after all. We have to teach and reach out to our brothers to speak more and take action against issues such as men related cancer and suicide. Let’s continue to raise awareness to the gents out there.

This is most favorite topic of all time because men face such as lot of things and are still scared to not say it out loud. Some of us are scared of not being believed since the society has classified Men’s to be the strongest, not knowing we also get hurt. Manbox is making a change by introducing this topic and showing care about Men’s health. I love it here ♥️♥️♥️

I remember a few years ago being faced my health issues for the first time as a young male not being able to pass urine….the feeling of shame coming over me and do no wish it apon no man therefore I think articles regarding men’s health are amazing If I had read these types of articles back then it would’ve been much easier to deal with back then.
