SUPERB PRODUCT
I received this product to test from a friend. The schick hydro 5 is definitely a superb product. I experienced a much closer shave with less irritation than normal. I will recommend to all who want a close and clean shave.

Effortlessshaving
What a great razor at great quality, before I received a sample to try I was using disposables, because the better quality razor blades where just too much. But this Razor has affordable replacement blade cartridges as well as being a very robust blade so they seem to last longer to me. Nice close shave and I don’t get any razor burn. GREAT RAZOR and I will be using these from now on.

Summary of Your Review
This product is amazing. The packaging is neat . Easy to open . The blades are very sharp and only one battery is required.This product is easy to use and it didn’t give me razor burn or any skin irritation.The best thing is that it has 5 blades and has given me a clean smooth finish . My skin feels amazing! But the blades are expensive.

Great Shave
Ok guys it was my first time using the blade to shave, and it felt really great and smooth on the skin, and it is a rel keeper. I can definitely get used to using regularly because it really gets the job done perfetly

Great Razor
This razor has a great feel to it and gives a fantastic shave!
It would be better if it lasted longer especially noting that the blades are very expensive.

Summary of Your Review
1. Packaging: Seems youthful and bright. Nice. Maybe slightly erring on the feminine side.
2. Unpackaging: Thankfully a battery is included. A spare blade or two would be expected if I’d bought the razor. Most do come with spares.
3. Vibrating action: I tried with it on all speeds and off – and I really can’t say I notice any benefit of the vibrating action. To me its more of a marketing gimmick. Maybe the vibration will have more effect when the blade starts to lose its sharp edge and then you probably get a bit of a serrated sawing action I guess? But I’m certainly not convinced that a vibration is the next major development in razors – lets just say that.
4. Vibrating speed button: Nice Led light to indicate speed. But the most annoying thing about this razor is having to step through the remaining speeds to get to the off position. Surely once you’ve selected your favorite speed, and then finished shaving – the next press of the button should simply switch the thing off, not step through more speeds – that’s just annoying.
5. Comfort and handling: Razor is very nicely weighted and comfortable angles etc to shave with. The head seems more flexible and smoother/better shaving than my existing Schick Quatro (4blade).
6. Tight spots: For getting into tight spots, I found that having to press back on the top of the blade to flip the lube strip away from the blade – was a little cumbersome to do each time I shave. I prefer the arrangement on my Schick Quatro blade where you just simply rotate the whole razor in you hand and then use the extra blade mounted in the edge of the blade head to get into tight spots (like under nose or side burns).
7. Overall I’d rather stick with my existing schick Quatro – for what it’s worth.

Pretty good – not perfect
The razor gave a really good shave – I did find that because there are so many blades the razor doesn’t quite follow the contours of my face tightly enough. The blades are very sharp and give a close shave.
I think the blades are quite expensive.
