How do you introduce yourself?
It always depends on where I am. If I’m out networking I’ll introduce myself as A_capital, (the presenter, voice over artist and life coach, the founder of VIVID VISIONS). Otherwise its Ash, who works in the real estate industry.
How did you become a Life Coach?
I realised I had leadership skills at a young age. Helping out at Sunday school while I was still in primary school. Then when I got to grade 9 I started volunteering as a youth leader. I soon realised it was time to step up and find a way to speak to everyone of every religion and I soon found problems we all face and how could we start to address them and find solutions. Especially self awareness amongst the youth teens into late 20’s.
Do you think any dude with a deep voice can be a presenter?
Mhhh yes and no. Presenting is not always as easy as it seems. Because if you make a noise, will people listen to what you say? It’s like having a car that revs but can’t move “useless” haha. Because at the end of the day people want to be driven, driven by your words. That’s what they’re listening to. So it’s more about the message you’re portraying than the way you sound.
What wakes up every morning besides your alarm?
Honestly speaking having a purpose or an end goal in mind that you want to achieve. You’re up each day wanting to see what it has to offer. I’m constantly meeting so many incredible people who are potential business partners. I call them gifts life places in the road on the journey to the end goal.
What’s your winning formula?
PLANNING!!! Being grounded to my principles & purpose allows me to be unshakeable and aware of who I let in my life. Due to this I strategise a lot. Learning from my mistakes and being able accept failure and being keen to learn from others
What’s next for you?
A lot of voice overs. Been working on a campaign with an international property company and an newly introduced craft beer called Jungle,to name a few. A lot more seminars across SA been getting a lot of requests from Johannesburg.
What’s your routine to stay looking fresh?
Gym always boosts my self esteem I feel confident and powerful. Clothing is important to me cause its part of how I present myself. It speaks for you because that is what’s observed before you open your mouth. And lastly grooming: the cologne, hair cut, fresh breath.
What’s your number ONE grooming product?
Nivea Men Sensitive Shaving Foam. The best one I’ve come across. I never feel any irritation or get rash after using it. It also makes shaving extremely easy and enjoyable as you only apply it once. The cream also has zero alcohol.
Is there such thing as a perfect guy?
I believe he does exist in every single one of us. We just never fully realise who he is. Because everyone forces their views and opinions on us and we start to live to impress their views. I’m sure when you close your eyes you have a different view of yourself than you currently are. That’s the prefect guy. And we should start living like that guy or trying to become him
If we had to put you in BOX – what would you remain as besides a Life Coach?
A Pioneer / innovative Leader. The new term seems to be a creative
Grand, grand, what do you think is Manbox?
Just as we have tool kit boxes to fix things and handy with. I think Manbox is the groomkit to self repair and maintenance.
