Alexander Kanniah is  currently a freelance Photographer and Influencer based in Durban. Alexander recently obtained Bachelors of Philosophy (Honours), in Marketing management from IMM Graduate School of Marketing in 2018.

  How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Alexander Kanniah from Durban, South Africa. I’m a recent Honour’s graduate majoring in marketing. I also create content on social media about Health/beauty, fashion and lifestyle.

What does it mean being an Influencer to you?

Being an Influencers is very rewarding and it allows me to connect with so many people and hopefully create a positive impact.

How is your postgraduate qualification relevant to your hustle?

My qualification allows me to see the world in a different light. It has created a drive within me to be more productive and efficient.

What wakes up every morning besides your alarm?

My desire to be the most productive I possibly can, it is difficult for South African creators to be recognized, so we have to work twice as hard.

What’s your winning formula?

Working hard and never give up on achieving any goal that you have set out even though life may take you on a different path, it will surely lead you to your goal.

What’s next for you?

I’ve been accepted to further my qualification to Master’s level at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. I plan on creating more content on all my social platforms and hopefully get into acting in the future.

What’s your routine to stay looking fresh?

Good skincare is at the top of the list, when you have good skin you feel better about yourself, Health and fitness has now become a major part of my life and it’s empowering.

What’s your number ONE grooming product?

Moisturizer, without it my skin would never be the same and I can’t live without it. Moisturize today and keep the wrinkles away!

Is there such thing as a perfect guy?

There is no such thing as a perfect guy, but we can make changes that can bring us closer to being better.

If we had to put you in BOX – what would you remain as besides an Influencer?  

Stylist, I love making people feel good about themselves and I’m a huge animal lover, which I am very invested in fighting against animal abuse.
