Chad Biegnaar is a 20 years old independent young man, who is driven to live a better and successful life. The CEO/Founder of The Local Blogger that was established on the 11^thJuly 2017, while he was on his way to George. Chad is a full time student at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) studying Psychology as a major. He’s also an influencer, content creator, fashion stylist, lifestyle blogger and brand ambassador for Curl Chemistry, Krulkop Society, Aidan J and The Fashion Lott.

How do you introduce yourself?

I am a Chad Biegnaar, The Local Blogger

How did you become a blogger?

I become a blogger on my own terms because I wanted to be different by not having a blog but only having Facebook and Instagram to be my main source, so that people can get the information as they scrolling down their feeds. Not everyone has data to go search so I decided to make it easy for everyone. On the 11^thJuly 2018, I had to start my own my website www.thelocalblogger.co.za  reason being companies wanted proof.  I first started on my personal page then I decided to make it a business and call it The Local Blogger. I became a blogger by posting helpful tips with fashion, grooming and hair products.

What makes your content different?

My content is authentic and helps people from all walks of life. I don’t follow one theme but I create a story that will assist others in their daily walk with fashion and grooming tips. To build up local businesses and designers to grow and make noise in their city, so that more people can know about them.

What wakes up every morning besides your alarm?

The noises in my head that is consistently running with new ideas and happy thoughts. Some morning it is the sounds of the birds by my window.

What’s your winning formula?

Wake up with a smile, motivate yourself, dress up like you going somewhere better later and now you can drink your coffee.

What’s next for you?

I tend to keep my next move silent so that when I do the announcement then it activated and ready to be celebrated. Doing more styling for local companies and starting a clothing line for men.  Starting my own Youtube Channel where I will be speaking on the latest fashion trends and tips, grooming/ facial essentials and tips , natural hair tips and product reviews.

What’s your routine to stay looking fresh?

Staying fresh and smelling good is important. Make sure that wherever you go that you look and smell good, remember to always smile. Let me tell you a secret that I still use baby powder when I get out of the shower, it just gives a clean smell especially on my busy days. Eat healthy and make sure you exercise at home or gym, it helps with your energy levels.

What’s your number ONE grooming product?

When I am shopping the first thing I would get is hair stuff because being a natural, you need to be on top of your game. Making sure that your curls are popping.

Is there such thing as a perfect guy?

No, we all have our flaws. I would say that every guy needs to be authentic and just love themselves. Be the best version of yourself.

If we had to put you in BOX – what would you remain as besides a blogger?

I would continue with my singing career or do marketing for business.
