Kurt Anders is a creative mind inspired by his surroundings, whether it be films, music, art or simply daily interactions. As a fashion-enthusiast, the modelling and beauty industry has always been Kurt’s greatest passion and the driving force behind his career. Kurt believes in pushing boundaries, growing through experiences and finding inspiration where most people won’t dare to look.

How did you become a model?

I’ve always known that I wanted to be part of the modelling industry. Luckily when I was in Grade 8 I got scouted on Clifton 4 beach, but didn’t really follow through until Matric where I got scouted via Instagram to be part of the Menswear fashion week and the signed with 20 Model management.

What’s your winning formula?

This may be a cliche bit I firmly believe that a healthy body, healthy mind definitely play a big role in my life.

What are your career highlights?

There have been many moments in my career that I’m extremely thankful for, but one highlight that I’ll remember forever will definitely be shooting the Giorgio Armani eyewear campaign.

What’s next for you?

Hmm, next for me is signing with an international agency, ramping up modelling gigs, building my social media platform and possibly taking a course in fashion.

What’s your grooming routine?

Grooming routine includes, wash, toning and moisturizing morning and night. Eye cream and a good serum is very important! (using Khiels products). I would either scrub or mask twice a week to exfoliate (using Khiels or Tom Ford). When styling I apply either a hair creme or a touch of hairspray for a natural hold, or some days when I feel like being a little extra I’ll do a very sleek wet look using either a hair mask or styling gel. Lastly, STAY HYDRATED!

Manbox I would say is a company that shows the importance of looking after one’s self and breaking the perception that only women should use beuty products/skincare.
