Ricardo Lategan is a Business Man, Entrepreneur, Influencer, and Photographer based in Cape Town. Ricardo obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Creative Media Production and Marketing from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA in 2016 where he also won a National Championship for Rugby. He is a currently a Director for a company in Cape Town. Ricardo is also a professional Photographer and content creator and is an avid traveler. Ricardo is a big supporter of men’s health especially mens mental health.

How do you introduce yourself?

 I am a hands on driven individual with the intelligence and personality to undertake challenges in a variety of situations. Traveling and meeting new people is what keeps me going every day.

What inspires you to chase your dreams?

My biggest fear is being average. That inspires me to push myself every day to be the best individual I can be. I also can’t sit still so that forces me to chase my dreams.

Do you think any dude with a “brilliant” idea can be an Entrepreneur?

Yes, I think any guy with the ability to go after their dreams and big idea that is willing to go the extra mile and put in the hard work can be an Entrepreneur. It’s not going to be easy, you’re going to have to work for it.

What wakes you up every morning besides your alarm?

The fact that there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything I want, and to be the best man I can be for myself and the people around me.

What’s your winning formula?

Wake up early. Have Coffee! Dress Up! Kick ass!

What’s next for you?

I’m focusing a lot on myself now trying to become the best man I can be, physically and mentally. I also have a lot of ideas and business opportunities that I am pursuing, so getting all of that started up and running. My photography is a big focus in my life right now. I’m also looking at more ways to support men’s mental health awareness as it is something that I am a big ambassador of.

What’s your routine to stay looking fresh?

My routine is keeping a well-balanced lifestyle. Eating healthy, working out five times a week and making sure I am groomed every day. Moisturizer is key!

What’s your number ONE grooming product?

I would say my hair product.

Is there such thing as a perfect guy?

No, I don’t think the perfect guy exists. We all have our flaws but we can manage and be the best guy that we can be for ourselves and the people close to us.

If we had to put you in BOX – what would you remain as besides an entrepreneur?

I want to inspire people around me and be a man who influences other men to be the best man that they can be. I am a caring and loving individual and what to spread my passions and love for everyone I meet.

Grand, grand, what do you think is Manbox?

I think Manbox is exactly what it stands for, “building better men” by providing men with solutions to better themselves as well as celebrating other men who are making an impact in the societies around them.
