I’ve seen big guys mourning about being blue-ticked like it’s the end of the world. Like seriously dude?! What happened to real “men” issues? Both men and women “cancel” each other based on online interactions gone wrong. That is not always the viable option. Perhaps digital exchanges are more important than the old school ways of conversing.
Remember back in the day when you had to wait until after work to share the good news with your mates? Just to set the record straight, I wasn’t around then but I’ve heard good things about the good old days. Maybe I’m insensitive or made of steel but I’ll never be offended by the two ‘blue-ticks’. One last sentence about me before I bore you with my life story. I’ve had see the worst crimes that makes blue-ticking a joke.
If you perceive being blue-ticked as an obnoxious act, maybe you should delete the App. Of course we are all guilty of blue-ticking someone. The WhatsApp Worse Crimes:
a) Blue-ticking someone and view their status – that’s unforgivable!
b) Typing for hours just to send one alphabet e.g “K”. What were you doing all this time?
c) Read chats and reply later – I guess the concept of ‘instant messaging’ doesn’t mean anything to you.
