Why Is Confidence So Attractive?

Is confidence one of those ‘super powers’ you can attain at your graduation ceremony? Most people would always claim to have it the add a big BUT in the same sentence. It seems like one can never have enough confidence or it relies on collating material possessions. Hence the rest of us are always hustling for more income, more likes on Facebook, more everything. Does it make you less of a human without the things to back up you confidence?

Confidence means you’re comfortable with yourself. Anything outside of yourself is there to complement what’s on the inside. Remember Beyoncé’s most sing-along song called Ego? The lyrics goes something like this “He talk like this cause he can back it up”. I guess she was referring to ego not confidence – there is a huge difference.

Confidence is an asset that shines through personal relationships, your own relationship with yourself and relations in the workplace. Everyone respects a person with confidence because with it, you are basically investing your heart and soul into something you feel passionately about.
