The beauty about life is we all have the equal hours in a day. No extensions. Time doesn’t discriminate. The exact hours you have in a day are the same with Mark Zuckerberg and Kanye West. It all depends on what you do with the time you have. Let’s all get serious here, it’s the third week of 2022. If you’re not grinding now, you might be left behind.
Cutting pictures of nice cribs and cool wheels is the easy part. Not throwing shade on vision boards or underestimating the power of manifestation. That formula only works if you are putting in the necessary effort.
If you’re having trouble achieving your business or personal goals, it’s probably time to change your approach to how to set goals. Successful goal setting starts with identifying specific goals and planning how you intend to achieve them in a realistic way. Here are two goal setting tips to help you succeed:
Be specific
Goals with no proper planning are simply bunch of “sbwls” nothing special there. So, when you’re goal setting, use a goal setting formula that gives your goal a built-in action plan. Goals that are vague or non-specific are a recipe for failure. To decide that you’re going to lose twenty pounds or get out of debt, for instance, is nice, but provides you with no guidance for doing that.
Putting a timeline on your goals isn’t adding unnecessary pressure but gives you a sense of urgency. One needs to be comfortable putting more hours and sacrificing a bit of fun time.
Evaluate your goals
Remember that goal setting is a process – and evaluation is an important part of that process. Don’t just settle for a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ assessment; think about what you did, how you did it and what you got out of it. Whether you successfully accomplished your goal or not, there’s always something to be learned; what works or doesn’t work for you, whether achieving your goal lived up to your expectations, why you failed. Extracting these lessons will increase your accomplishments even more as you apply them to your future goal setting experience.
2021 was a tough year for most people. This is no time for excuses gents. If you really want to achieve your goals in 2022, this is for you “on your mark, get set, go!”

This is so profound! More especially with covid years and the real struggle to build up the business. Very insightful and a good read
Profound indeed! One thing about goals is that you have to be realistic. Give yourself timeframes as to how often you will evaluate your goals and check progress.
When you know you destined for Greatness, your potential haunts you. It keeps you up at night, knowing you won’t feel complete until you accomplish what you know you’re meant to.
2021 was really a challenging year for all of us but it just make us stronger.
Brilliant and highly recommended read. I think that we are at a stage in life where we simply just have to understand that life is not promised to us and therefor we need to grab opportunities that we once thought were out of our reach. I think that goals can be as as simple as, “I want to remain attentive to my goals” and thus being mindful when setting them at a realistic pace. Reading this article alone is a step in the right direction of expanding our tools to set our goals. To whoever see’s this remember, “May your Faith be greater than your Fears”… ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO!
I always fellow my goals and dreams and I don’t ever give up on my goals because I want to succeed in my life
Valuable insight, goal setting i think is not really a problem, its the follow through and execution. Most times we tend to procrastinate or take a light hearted approach because we think we still have ample time.A wake up call realization comes when we try to evaluate at soem stage
This was very informative and yes if you not grinding now already it’s just another sbwl case
These two years has taught us alot on how we should live with our finances, we came out with what was important, it prepared us on the basics of life, certainly i can say we enhanced alot on our natural capabilities, what we can do as humans. Many people started with businesses, some doing partime jobs as well. its a definite learning years we had.
Profound! In all this let us learn to have realistic goals with realistic timelines and realistic execution strategies. The idea is not make sure that there is total alignment between goals and how to achieve them. Lets do this.
