Fayros Jaffer is a sought-after portrait, fashion and lifestyle photographer as well as Creative Director. As an artist he seeks to find beauty in everyone and everything. His work has appeared in Cosmopolitan, Good Life section of the Cape Times and in various online magazines. He has been a regularly featured on lifestyles shows like Mela (SABC 3) and Top Billing.

After working in the financial industry for over 9 years as Project Management he left to pursue a career in the Creative industry following his passion. He is also in the work in launching a digital lifestyle publication called Life in Pictures which is a spin-off from his social media presence focusing on lifestyle, arts and culture, fashion and food. How do you introduce yourself?

Fayros Jaffer, Lifestyle Photographer and Creative. I usually leave that part out though as I feel what you do doesn’t define who you are.

What do you think makes you a “better man”? 

I think being sensitive to other peoples needs, respecting and accepting people or who and what they are. Standing up for what you believe in as well as speaking up for the voiceless.

Would you call any dude with a “brilliant” idea an entrepreneur? 

Not really, many people have “brilliant ideas”. It’s those that see the gaps and are able to execute and fill it that are entrepreneurs.

What’s your winning formula? 

Trusting your gut and not giving up. Also believing that there is enough for everyone so just do the best you can, don’t be too self-critical and be brave.

What are your career highlights? 

Being able to pay my bills lol… Being featured on Mela (Lifestyle show on SABC 3) and being named an artist to watch by the Good Life Lifestyle Editor for the Cape Times.

What’s next for you? 

Bigger Creative Projects and Launching an online Lifestyle publication – Life in Pictures and hopefully an exhibition in the near future.

 What’s your grooming routine? 

Washing and taking care of my skin both in the mornings and evening is something I live by.  I use a Face Wash, Moisturiser and don’t leave the house without applying a really good sunblock. I make sure I see my Skin therapist at least once a month.

Grand, grand what do you think Manbox is?

It’s a platform for men to find great groom products that have been reviewed by real-life people. This way you get to know about products and how they work for the everyday man.
