“No” Is A Complete Sentence…

Too often women are told to be extra careful, dress appropriately and not to be “too dramatic”. It’s only once in a blue moon that you’d hear warning messages directed to men, especially from other men. We’re all too familiar with these excuses “he has a temper because he was abused as a boy” or “he’s a nice guy— it’s the alcohol that makes his abusive”.

“No” doesn’t need any explanation. It might be cute to steal a kiss BUT if she asks you to STOP it should end right there. “No” doesn’t mean try to convince her. No means no. Even if she visits your crib — nothing should happen without her consent.

Today a woman can’t go anywhere without the fear of being raped or murdered. While us, men can go anywhere without any thoughts of “something bad” might happen. 95% of the time such disgusting crimes are committed by close relatives or partners. Bro, she could have said she wants to marry you before leaving the club —if she changes her mind, respect it!

Building better men isn’t about lecturing and pointing fingers. On the other hand, dealing with such issues isn’t about “them” and “us”. If it involves men — we’re all guilty.
