The New Bro Code

The Bro Code is we stick together no matter what and nothing comes between us. That semi-conscious decision to be “bad boys forever”. It doesn’t matter who takes the lead, as long there are rules to keep the friendship tight. Nobody ever bothers to question these rules — the best explanation you’d hear is “it’s one of those things”. Do these rules help us to become better men?

As gents, we cover up for each other, no matter what! The ill crimes committed by men to women and children call for a re-examination of these “codes”. If one of us [MEN] is abusing his partner and we encourage it — aren’t we all guilty? If two of your mates are involved in the gang rape and you just the dude who’s taking a video — what makes you innocent?

The new bro code is holding each other responsible. It’s reporting your mate to the authorities for breaking the law. The code is about respecting women and helping one another. Here’s a question, are these rules serving you?
