AKA on fame: To be honest, I don’t even f***ing care anymore

I guess they not kidding when they say “happiness” is an inside job. The rapper AKA announced that his latest studio album, Touch My Blood, went double platinum, something he knows he should be happy about. Instead, he said he didn’t care one bit and took to Twitter to rant about it.

Double platinum is kind of a big deal! In South Africa albums would need to achieve sales of 15,000 to be certified gold and 30,000 to be certified platinum. So ― AKA achieved 60,000 in sales. What an insane achievement, wow! Unfortunately Supa Mega isn’t chuffed at all, in fact he is ‘gatvol’ of being famous.AKA is one of the celebrated artist in the African continent with lots of accolades, endorsement deals, father to Kairo BUT he claims not to be satisfied. Not to sound like a ‘happiness guru’ – we can all take a lesson here. The power of gratitude (counting all those blessings even the blue skies) keeps you grounded! Let me stop preaching!
