How To Manage Your Side Hustle?

Juggling more than one gig is daunting but it can be done. The eight-to-five gig should never be an excuse to abandon your dreams. Does it mean you can’t have a side hustle if you’re already in your ‘dream job’? Unless you live in a different galaxy an extra dosh is always a HECK YEAH!

The side hustle as your ‘main’ gig demands your attention. It’s exactly the same as having a side chick while you’re dating ― both partners need your love and affection. Perhaps I’m comparing two different things, hustlers? By hustlers I’m referring to the unpublished author, the unknown painter, the graduate student aka bartender at night. These dudes are always looking for an opportunity to advance their lives.

Entrepreneurship is trendy and cool and everyone believes they can be the next Steve Jobs. Bro, these are two things they aren’t telling you:

Put skin in the game

Are you the next Mark Zuckerberg? That is amazing! Have you invested some of your cash in your start-up? No investor would inject cash in your ‘great idea’ until you do it first. Perhaps you should improve your game before you go play with the ‘big dogs’. Bro, when it’s the right time to resign in your day job make sure you have solid fan base that’s willing to buy the tickets your concert.

Time management 

If you suck at prioritiesing maybe you should solely focus on your main hustle ― otherwise you might lose both gigs altogether. Time is money indeed. Every minute you spend in procrastinating, oh boy, the chances of adding more zeros on your account are super slim.
