November Newsletter

It’s the month to raise awareness to you, gents!

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.

When it comes to their health, too many men don’t talk, don’t take action, and die too young.

Join us this November and help men live happier, healthier, longer lives. You can help change the face of men’s health.

Check out the Men’s Foundation who collaborate globally and locally to advocate in order to positively influence the average life expectancy of South African men.

Campaigns like this are needed more often in the society. As men we all have our less masculine side or more feminine side. We sometimes also want to be held, loved, taken care of, and also feel vulnerable.

  2. Nqobile D. says:

One thing l have realised is that we men pretend to be strong even when we do not have to. Let us learn to discuss things that affect our mental health. Let us learn to discuss the toxic things that trouble us.

  3. Damon A. says:

I’m so happy people raise awareness to every aspect of men’s health. There are so many young men like myself who go through these #yolo phases until we hit mental problems that we are also too scared to talk about openly. But the more men talk about it I feel like we can learn from one another and also raise better men. To take care of ourselves and our loved ones.

Men are Fighters, Protectors, Warriors….but we are also soft, caring, gentle human beings that hurt and scar too! It’s time to speak out and stop the taboo of suffering in silence. #MenUnited!!!!
