Have you guys heard and seen the new trend on Twitter where people tweet “Indoda mayibe …” (A man must…).

Some of the things people are saying are hilarious! Here are a few examples of what they have been saying below:

    This trend is the reason why most men commit suicide. Society puts a lot of pressure on men and it is not fair. A lot is expected from men and sometim expectations are ridiculous.

    I want to agree with this trend but it puts so much pressure on men. The society puts a lot of pressure on men with these statements and it is not fair. Men are known to be leaders and yes they must provide but some of the expectations are too much. Let us take easy on gents.

    Indoda must is one statement that will lead to depression among men. We put so much pressure on men in terms of expectations and it is not right. Yes a man must provide and all but let us remember that men are human too and they cnt always have it figurered out. Let us take it easy on gents.

    The only ‘indoda must’ trend l support is one that says indoda must be a provider. Everything else is secondary. Men should be leaders and providers. Once you take up that role then you will know which ‘must’ is important.

    This idea have to be for both indoda mayibe…nomafazi makabe….time has changed to expect a man to lead the home, have money, and have material things. Woman do themselves in 2022 and this #IndodaMayibe is putting pressure to man to think they are not enough to be a Man. Let’s throw away these hashtags that degrade and discriminate Man and be civil.
