Gone are days of men’s surnames lead the family. Today we have single mothers who manage their families well and appear as normal providers not helpers. So, the notion of “Indoda mayibe..” is really putting unemployed and broke men on a dark corner. Not everything revolves around finances but life of today does especially under this hashtag. “Umzali makabe…” should be a responsible hashtag that will make both sexes safe to read on the idea and make a change in their lives as a parent nation not as a man who is supposed to have things he can’t afford. It is free to run, cycle, live healthily and network around what you believe is treasure but to sit and do nothing is actually being lazy and irresponsible. Gents, I know we like to be CEOs but in situations that requires you as a human we need to take down that hashtag and put up “Umuntu makabe…..!?
A man must be hardworking
A man must be loyal
Indoda must be able to ndod
