Goodbye Face Masks, Hello July!
No this is not a drill and no, it’s certainly not a prank. We are finally free from wearing masks!
Recently, our health minister Joe Phaahla quietly gazetted a notice that immediately removed any legal obligation to wear a face mask in South Africa.
This came in as a huge surprise for most South Africans because face masks have been a feature of South African life for more than TWO years. Then suddenly, they were gone.
We are certainly excited to not worry about wearing a mask at the gym or just to enter a mall or a restaurant (where we would actually have to remove the mask again to eat).
One thing is for sure, we will definitely miss wearing a mask as a cover-up when we don’t feel like being too social in public spaces😅

Innovative suggestions for how to deal with masks you no longer need include:
- Clothing Patches
- Golfball and Dog-Eye Cleaning Wipes
- Hamster Hammocks, and Hammocks for Baby Bunnies.
We know that in reality, virtually all masks are most likely to end up in the dustbin and from there go to landfill sites, becoming part of the long-running problem of dealing with general waste.
There is, at least, ONE thing you can do to mitigate the potential harm that it may have on the environment: cut the rubber bands on both sides of a disposable mask before disposing of it.

I have been on MAN BOX almost a decade playing also the competitions but nothing happening to me!

Huge sigh of relief with the falling of masks, however I still maintain caution as COVID is still very much rife!

Masks have made me to realise how important to take care of myself in crowds or in a bad air space. I am happy masks are gone as the country’s regulation law but not celebrating because it shield us from other dieses.Winter is time for flu and less cases were reported because of masks. I can be happy though to show up at events, malls or visiting with my face out. It is a good thing now that we can shave and ladies put on their lipsticks. But I would advice everyone to take care of their surroundings by always carry a mask in your pocket or bag, you might still need to cover up out there.
Free from mask yes but covid its still ther lets be safe always

Judging by the numbers, Covid is not yet a thing of the past!
We’ve all been waiting for this moment & finally it’s here, lol these security guards must humble themselves now. However, let’s not forget to take care of ourselves, Covid is not over yet.
